Description
This silver necklace is made up of delicate links of individual crystal quartz spears measuring between 5 and 14mm. These double terminated crystals are also known as ‘herkimer diamonds’ – for the gemmology geeks, diamonds are one of the only four cubic gemstones in terms of crystal systems, whereas quartz is in the trigonal system, so presents in different natural rough gem material crystal shapes. Despite not being real diamonds they have a charm all of their own and are shown to full effect in this piece. Length 36″.
