Terms & Conditions
Things you need to know…
Prices shown on the site are in GBP and if VAT is applicable, it is included in the price shown. Please note that all shipments to destinations outside of the UK and the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes and you will be responsible for any local taxes and/or duty on your incoming purchase. All published prices are subject to change at any time without notice. This is largely due to fluctuations in the price of gold and silver which are outside our control.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Orders placed by you are an offer to purchase and will be accepted by us, subject to stock availability.
Formal fee proposals will be prepared for commission work. They are a best estimate at the time of writing, and cannot take into account market fluctuations in the price of gold and silver. Any changes in budget would be agreed with you before work is progressed. Written confirmation of instruction for commission work will be required from the individual who will pay the invoice. Commissions require a 50% deposit.
Payment can be made online using Paypal, by cleared cheque from a bank with UK local branches, or in cash if collection is in person. Note that if paying via Paypal delivery will only take place to the address of the account holder. Delivery will not take place until we are satisfied that the payment has been processed. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Kat Zahran Jewellery, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
6. Returns and exchange policy
We accept returns for an exchange or credit note as long as they are returned unworn in the original packaging within 28 days of receipt. This does not apply to work undertaken on a commission basis. We recommend using Special Delivery as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit. Refunds will be made to the original payment method minus post and packaging. Please refer to the Q&A section below to learn more about our returns and exchange policy.
We aim to fulfill orders as soon as possible. However, many items are made to order so please leave a reasonable amount of time, especially if you are ordering for a special occasion such as a birthday. The estimated delivery time can be advised by Kat based on your enquiry. We will give you an estimated delivery date for your order along with the tracking number of your package. No times or dates are guaranteed. Timescales for delivery of commissions are dependent on the complexity of the piece but will be advised individually. Every effort will be made to meet deadlines, although there may be factors outside our control which prevent this. Should this arise all reasonable efforts to reach a solution acceptable to both parties will be made.
