Liberty Open Call 2011

In the spirit of the phrase 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' Kat is going to present her jewellery to the buying team at the world famous Liberty Department Store in London as part of the Open Call, where new talent amongst British design is discovered.

Kat Zahran Jewellery in Professional Jeweller Magazine

A pair of Kat /cluster hoop earrings have been awarded as a prize for the best comment in the March 2011 edition of Professional Jeweller Magazine. The prize was won by Deborah Miarkowska from EcoChic collection for her comment about the new Fairtrade Gold Standard. Kat met with Deborah to present the prize and had a wonderful discussion over shared environmental interests. Images of Kat's signature design the Castle Ring featured in a new edition of the classic teaching reference the Encyclopedia of Jewelry Design by Jinks McGrath (published by Search Press in the UK and Running Press in the US). This hugely popular and influential book was the first of its kind in now what is an established genre. The new edition is now available and you can buy it from Amazon.
